7 Days To Kickoff: KRISPY KREME SPECIAL
Georgia State's encore football season kicks off on Friday Night Sept. 2 under the bright lights of the Georgia Dome.
Bill Curry's Panthers will kick off at 7:30 against the cross town Clark Atlanta Panthers on 09-02.
To start that Sept. 2 day, the Krispy Kreme doughnut store on Ponce de Leon Avenue will honor GSU with hot and tasty Panther blue football-shaped doughnuts from 6 a.m.-11 a.m.
As an added bonus, anyone who purchases a dozen doughnuts during the event on Sept. 2 will receive a voucher for two tickets to attend any GSU football game at the Georgia Dome during the season.
For the season opener on 09-02, the PantherZone tailgate area has been moved to the Brown Lot. The PantherZone is the designated area for games, contests, entertainment and game day giveaways as part of the tailgating. The Orange Lot remains a headquarters for alumni and other tailgating activities. Come early and join the tailgate fun.
