Georgia State's encore football season kicks off on Friday Night Sept. 2 under the bright lights of the Georgia Dome.

Head coach Bill Curry will talk GSU football all season long with both a radio and tv show. Tune in to NewsTalk 1160-AM Radio (The Talk of the Town) every Monday from 4-5 p.m. as play-by-play broadcaster Dave Cohen and the coach discuss the hot topics of Panther football and take your phone calls.

Georgia State's weekly television show, "Inside Georgia State Football with Bill Curry," will air on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS-TV) on Thursday afternoons at 4 p.m., beginning Sept. 1.

Tailgating starts early outside the Dome, then Coach Curry's Panthers will kick off at 7:30 against the cross town Clark Atlanta Panthers.

The PantherZone tailgate area has been moved to the Brown Lot. The PantherZone is the designated area for games, contests, entertainment and game day giveaways as part of the tailgating. The Orange Lot remains a headquarters for alumni and other tailgating activities. Come early and join the tailgate fun.
