13 Days To Kickoff:  Come To Volleyball, Get a Free Hat

Georgia State's encore football season kicks off on Friday night Sept. 2 under the bright lights of the Georgia Dome.

That same day, the GSU volleyball team plays its home opener in the afternoon in the Sports Arena at 3 p.m.

Come to the free volleyball match and get free schedule posters and tattoos, while getting a voucher redeemable for the free GSU cap when you go to the football opener a few blocks away at the Georgia Dome.

Take your voucher to the Gazebo at Gate D and receive your new GSU hat, as well as the other freebies at that game.

The fast-paced volleyball action sees the Panthers return eight letter winners from last year's 14-14 team that was 8-6 in the CAA and just missed on the tournament bid on the final weekend.

All volleyball games in the GSU Sports Arena are free.

The PantherZone tailgate area has been moved to the Brown Lot. The PantherZone is the designated area for games, contests, entertainment and game day giveaways as part of the tailgating. The Orange Lot remains a headquarters for alumni and other tailgating activities. Come early and join the tailgate fun.
