Georgia State's encore football season kicks off on Friday night Sept. 2 under the bright lights of the Georgia Dome.
With Panther alums spread all over America, those loyal to the blue and white will still be able to enjoy GSU football in a variety of ways.
Throughout the southeastern states that get Comcast Cable (CSS), GSU games will be televised live against Old Dominion (Sept. 10), at Jacksonville State (Sept. 17) and at Houston (Sept. 24). Others remain a possibility for TV.
GSU also will videostream all six home football games and the road game at UTSA. A season pass for GSU games on GeorgiaStateSports.com is just $49.95, with a $10 discount (20%) if you order before Sept. 15. That season pass is good for any GSU game shown to include football, men's and women's basketball and volleyball over the 2011-12 school year.

All games are free to listen to on the NewsTalk 1160 radio network and streamed online at newstalk1160.com. All game statistics are available during the game and in play-by-play form on GeorgiaStateSports.com for free as well.
Tailgating starts early outside the Dome. The PantherZone tailgate area has been moved to the Brown Lot. The PantherZone is the designated area for games, contests, entertainment and game day giveaways as part of the tailgating. The Orange Lot remains a headquarters for alumni and other tailgating activities. Come early and join the tailgate fun.
