28 Days To Kickoff:  CARNIVAL AT THE DOME

Georgia State's encore season kicks off in 28 days on Friday Night Sept. 2 against Clark Atlanta under the bright lights of the Georgia Dome.

For the first time ever, GSU will host a carnival on the day of the ODU game (the season's second game, Sept. 10) in the Orange Lot with free rides on a 40-foot tall Ferris Wheel and a 20-foot high Super Swing. The Ferris Wheel holds 20-30 riders and the Super Swing holds 20 people. Other carnival-like games and events will be planned that game as well and will take place in PantherZone in the Brown Lot,  just next door.

The rides are free for ticket holders and students, with the only requirement being 44 inches tall (3' 8") to ride the Ferris Wheel and 42 inches tall to ride the Super Chair (3' 6").
