ATLANTA— Georgia State Athletics is participating in Olympic Day, The Olympic Movement's "You Can Do This. Let's Move." initiative on Tuesday, June 23.
Every year, Olympic Day gives people a chance to celebrate something bigger than sport: the power of movement to help young people build confidence, connection and well-being.
This year, that message has never felt more important. We face a global challenge of inactivity; around the world, too many young people are moving less, struggling with self-doubt and feeling increasingly disconnected.
That's why Georgia State Athletics is joining the global Olympic Day movement; one that begins not with performance or competition, but with encouragement.
Georgia State aims to participate in Olympic Day through the Georgia State Move Challenge and community outreach.
