ATLANTA – Georgia State volleyball's first-year head coach Jorge Martinez has announced the Panthers' 2026 schedule. The Panthers are lined up for 28 regular-season matches, including 12 non-conference contests and 16 Sun Belt Conference matches.
Georgia State opens its 2026 campaign at the Jaguar Classic in Mobile, Ala., facing Mississippi State (Aug. 28) and the reigning AAC regular-season champions, Rice (Aug. 29), before closing out the weekend against tournament host South Alabama (Aug. 30).
The Panthers return to Atlanta for the home-opener, co-hosting the GSU Invitational with Kennesaw State. Georgia State kicks off the tournament against crosstown rival Kennesaw State (Sept. 3), followed by matchups with Alabama A&M (Sept. 4) and West Georgia (Sept. 5).
Non-conference slate continues at the Blue Raider Bash in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Panthers face host Middle Tennessee (Sept. 11) and Murray State (Sept. 11) before wrapping up the tournament against Northern Colorado (Sept. 12).
The Panthers close out tournament play at the Mercer Invitational in Macon, Ga. Georgia State opens with Charleston Southern (Sept. 18) and tournament host Mercer (Sept. 18), then rounds out the weekend against Montana State (Sept. 19).
Sun Belt action begins on the road as GSU travels to Marshall (Sept. 24-25) for a two-match series in Huntington, W.Va. The Panthers kick off their home conference schedule the following week, hosting the reigning Sun Belt regular-season champions, James Madison (Oct. 1-2).
Georgia State's home conference slate continues with series against Old Dominion (Oct. 16-17), Appalachian State (Oct. 29-30) and Louisiana Tech (Nov. 12-13). Road trips include Southern Miss (Oct. 9-10), Coastal Carolina (Oct. 23-24) and in-state rival Georgia Southern (Nov. 5-6).
The 2026 Sun Belt Conference Championship is set to begin Nov. 19 at the Foley Sports Tourism Center in Foley, Ala.
