Connor MacMillan finished first on the Panthers' scorecard, leading the Georgia State men's golf team to tie for ninth out of 15 at the J.T. Poston Invitational, hosted by Western Carolina.Â
The Panthers collectively posted a three-round total of 867 (3-over-par).
Connor MacMillan tied for 9th place individually with a total score of 210. His rounds of 69, 73 and 68 boosted the team's overall score.
Cameron Jackson also performed well, finishing tied for 24th with a total of 214. Jackson finished three rounds with scores of 71, 71 and 72.
Jordan Jung finished tied for 55th with a score of 221 after rounds of 73, 72, and 76. Tidwell followed closely, finishing tied for 65th with a total of 222, while Medellin ended the tournament tied for 67th with a score of 223.
The Panthers are back in action at the Pinetree Intercollegiate, hosted by Kennesaw State, on Oct. 14-15.Â
