WILMINGTON, N.C.— Georgia State Panthers men's golf finished 14
th in the Seahawk Intercollegiate this week, scoring a par score 900 (295-302-303).
Matthew Calhoun finished in fifth place as an individual in the event.
Freshman,
Matthew Calhoun tied with
Cameron Jackson in the tournament with a five-over par 221 (75-75-71). Calhoun also shot 13 birdies and 27-even par holes. His tournament-best round consisted of a one-under par score of 71, with six birdies and seven-even par holes.
Jackson, a junior shot five-over 221 (72-75-74), with 31-even par holes and 11 birdies. His tournament-best round even par score of 72, with 11-even par holes and four birdies.
Junior
Brody Tidwell shot a six-over 222 (76-75-71), with 10 birdies and 26-even par holes. Tidwell recorded a tournament-best in the third round with a score of one under par 71, scoring four birdies and 11-even par holes.
Senior
Connor MacMillan shot a 12-over par 228 (76-77-75), with eight birdies and 31-even par holes. MacMillan recorded a tournament-best round with a three-over par score of 75 and 11-even par holes.
Freshman
Archie Cook and Senior
Cole Finch also competed in the Seahawk Intercollegiate. Cook shot a 15-over par 231 (71-77-83) with 32-even par holes. Finch shot a par score of 239 (78-85-86) with nine birdies and 26-even par holes.
The Panthers are back in action at the Golfweek Spring Challenge in Pawleys, S.C. on Apr. 6-7.
