Men's Golf Unveils 2024-25 Tournament Schedule

ATLANTA — The Georgia State men's golf team has announced its 2024-25 tournament schedule under the leadership of head coach John Michael Cole.

The Panthers will open the season at the Southern Dunes Collegiate, hosted by Southern California, from Sept. 9-10. They will continue their fall campaign with the J.T. Boston Invitational, which is scheduled for Sept. 15-17 and hosted by Western Carolina.

Following these events, Georgia State will participate in the Pinetree Intercollegiate at Kennesaw State on Oct. 14-15. The team's fall schedule will conclude with the Forman Intercollegiate, hosted by Furman, on Oct. 19-20.

After finalizing the fall 2024 schedule, the Panthers will take a break from action and resume their season with the spring 2025 schedule beginning in February. 

The spring campaign will commence on Feb.1-2, with the Panthers teeing off at the Thomas Sharkey Individual, hosted by Georgia Southern. This event marks the beginning of a demanding spring season, offering an early opportunity for the Panthers to test their skills and set the tone for the upcoming months.

Following their debut, Georgia State will head to the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate, held on March 3-4 and hosted by Stetson. This tournament promises to deliver a blend of competitive play and picturesque views, setting the stage for an engaging contest.

The Panthers will then take part in the Soft Club Invitational on March 10-11, hosted by Appalachian State.

March continues to be a busy month as the Panthers participate in the Linger Longer Invitational from March 16-18. Hosted by Kennesaw State, this tournament is expected to be a highlight of the season, featuring a field of strong competitors and a prestigious venue.

On March 24-25, Georgia State will compete in the Seahawk Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) before heading to Pawley's Island, South Carolina, for the Golfweek AGT Invitational from March 31 to April 2. 

The regular season will wrap up with the Invitational at the Ford, scheduled for April 14-15 and hosted once again by Georgia Southern. 

The season culminates with the Sun Belt Conference Championship, taking place from April 21-24 in Madison, Miss.. As the pinnacle of the Panthers' spring schedule, the championship will offer a final chance to showcase their skills and vie for the conference title.
