KENNESAW, Ga. – Freshman
Archie Cook finished 6th overall to lead the Panthers at The Scrappy at Cobblestone tournament on Tuesday afternoon.
The Panthers recorded an 876 team score through three rounds to finish second overall in the tournament.
Cook recorded an even-par score of 71 in the final round to result in a five-over par 217 (70-76-71) total score. He recorded 12 birdies, five in the first round, two in the second, and another five to finish out the tournament.
Junior
Brody Tidwell finished second on the Panthers' leaderboard, finishing 7th overall with a seven-over par 220 (73-76-71) score. Tidwell also recorded an even-par score of 71 in the final round of the tournament including three birdies on the front nine.
Senior
Connor MacMillan and Junior
Cameron Jackson finished tied for 16
th overall in the tournament. Both posted a total score of 223 for the tournament MacMillan with (73-70-80) and Jackson with (75-72-76). MacMillan recorded six birdies over the course of the tournament. Jackson recorded eight birdies and also shot an eagle in the second and third round.
TOURNAMENT NOTES:
Erik Norman scored 14-over par 227 (76-78-73).
Matthew Calhoun participated as an individual and scored 16-over par 223 (67-75-83).
The Panthers finish out the fall season at Furman Intercollegiate, hosted by Furman University, in Greenville, S.C. on Oct. 18-19.
