MacMillan Leads Panthers After One Round at Tiger Invitational

AUBURN -- Connor MacMillan is Georgia State's top individual after one round at Auburn's Tiger Invitational Presented by Jason Duffner.

MacMillan, the freshman from Canton, Ga., shot a 2-under par 70 Sunday on the 72,289-yard, Par-72 layout at the Grand National Lake Course. He stands in a tie for 21st place but is just three shots behind the individual leaders.

Mason Dean shot an even-par 72, while Jordan Jung carded a 73.

As a team, the Panthers posted a 4-over 292. Team leader Southern Miss shot 15-under, three strokes ahead of host Auburn at 12-under.

The tournament continues with 18 holes Monday and 18 more in Tuesday's final round.
