SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Four players finished under par as the Panthers shot a second round 274 which will put them at 4-under on the tournament. The team will enter tomorrow tied for 15th with UCLA.
Connor MacMillan (68), Mason Dean (68), Jordan Jung (69) and Hunter Smith (69) all completed the round in the red. The Panthers finished at a total of 6-under par on the day.
"Much better execution today from the guys. Anytime you count four scores in the red, it's hard not to be happy. Scores are low here so we have to continue making birdies and tighten up a few loose swings. Should have a chance tomorrow to get some quality wins over some really good teams." head coach Chad Wilson said.
Georgia State will look to keep the momentum going as they enter the final 18 holes at the Mirabel Golf Club.
Auburn improves their lead and sits at 34-under par, Tennessee's Caleb Surratt sits in the lead for individuals at 13-under par.
