HOUSTON – Led by the 4x400m relay team's win on Saturday afternoon, the Georgia State indoor track & field team wrapped up another successful weekend at the H-Town Speed Series hosted by Houston.
The 4x400m relay team of Morgan Manley, Imani Flanagan, Blake Blakemore, and Jaeda Hunt finished with a time of 3:50.70 to take home the victory, capping multiple solid results for the Panthers.
On Friday, Marine Garnier earned a second-place finish in the mile with a time of 5:04.72, while Anouk Prop placed 10th with a time of 5:12.09.
Emma Devis continued an impressive indoor season with a second-place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:15.08, while Kennedy Morris came in seventh with a time of 2:21.37.
Morgan Manley finished fourth in the 400m with a time of 58.48, while both Simone Harper and Kayli Williams reached the finals of the 60mH.
On Saturday, the DMR group of Prop, Morris, Manley, and Garnier finished in third place with a time of 12:21.42.
Jaeda Hunt placed fifth in the 200m with a time of 24.97, while Imani Flanagan finished sixth just .01 seconds behind.
Devis earned a third-place finish in the 3k with a time of 10:04.04, while Na'ilah Moore finished in sixth place in the triple jump with a distance of 11.72m.
Georgia State will have a week off before returning to action traveling to Birmingham, Ala., for the Bulldog Invite and the Bulldog Open hosted by Samford Feb. 11-12.
