KENNESAW Ga.-- Georgia State women's track & field compiled 14 top-five finishes at Don McGarey Invitational hosted by Kennesaw State.

Destinee Frink and Ana Cubillo set the pace for the Panthers in the distance events, both claiming titles in their respective events. Frink secured first place in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:29.50 and Cubillo got first in the 5000-meter after running a 17:58.88.

Maya Anderson also stood atop the podium after her first-place time of 13.79 in the 100-meter hurdles.

Destinee Frink capped her productive weekend with a second-place finish in the 5000-meter with a time of 18:27.59.
Jayla Kennedy impressed with a second-place time of 11.54 in the 100-meter.
Kayli Williams also finished second after running the 400-meter hurdles in 1:01.71.

Three Panthers finished third in their respective events this weekend.
Keniya Walker placed third in the 400-meter after her time of 55.26. Mencia Maruri earned her podium spot after running the 5000-meter in 18:44.39.
Kevell Byrd rounded out the third-place finishers after running the 200-meter in 23.78 seconds.

Keniya Walker notched another top-five finish after placing fourth in the 200-meter running a 24.03.
Maleah Heard finished fourth in the 100-meter with a time of 11.86 seconds.
Zayna Fray picked up points in the field after her fourth-place throw of 54.17 meters in the weight throw.

Jayla Kennedy and
Shannon Cook finished fifth in their respective events. Kennedy ran a 24.06 in the 200-meter and Cook 19:49.60 in the 5000-meter.
