President's List - Fall 2025
2025-26: Competed in eight total meets this indoor and outdoor season... Ran a personal-best 42:10.40 in the 10,000-meter at the Lee University Fast Break Athletics Invitational (Apr. 10-11)... Earned a sixth-place finish in the 5000-meter after running it in 20:21.05 during the Don McGarey Invitational (Mar. 27-28)... Finished the indoor season with a career-best time of 19:25.58 in the 5000-meter at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships (Feb. 23-24)... Finished fourth in the 3000-meter with a personal record 11:09.13 during the Life U Super Bowl Indoor/Outdoor Polar Meet (Feb. 7)... Started the indoor season with a personal-best 5:38.92 in the mile at the UAB Blazer Invitational (Jan. 9).
High School: Graduated from Decatur High School in Decatur, Alabama in 2025...Participate in Distance and Middle Distance, 2025 high school 1600M and 3200M record holder, 2025 AHSAA Cross Country All-Section 6A Region 4, AHSAA 6A Region 4 1600M Sectional Champion. 2025 Fall XC Season one first place and two third place, Track and Field Indoor 4 podium finishes, Track and Field outdoor 13 first place, one second place, and 2 third place. Vinemont Invitational Champion, 2025 Morgan County Championship. Student Body Historian, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honors Society, National Social Studies Honors Society, Decatur High School Outstanding Senior, HOSA Vice President.
Personal: Born on May 4, 2007, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama...Parents Deontae and Mia Cox. Cousin Sierra Williams participated in Mixed Martial Arts for US Women’s National Martial Arts Team 2018-19.
