Jung Leads Men's Golf at Graeme McDowell Invitational

GADSDEN, Ala. – Freshman Jordan Jung shot a final round 73 to finish tied for 33^rd and lead the Georgia State men's golf team to a 15^th place finish at Graeme McDowell Invitational at Silver Lakes Golf Club on Tuesday.

Playing a man down due to an injury to Elliott Anger, the Panthers had to count all four scores in both the second and third rounds of the event. Jung, along with senior Owen Sertl shot rounds of 73 on Tuesday, while David Li added an even par 72.

Georgia State shot a final round 300 as host UAB ran away with the tournament title shooting a three-round total of 27-under. UAB's Khavish Varadan shot a final round 66 to finish the two-day event at 12-under par and take home low medalist honors.
