2021-22 Indoor Track and Field Schedule Announced

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Georgia State track & field head coach Kyle Stevenson announced the 2021-22 indoor schedule this week.
 
The indoor season will consist of nine events over six dates and will stretch from Nov. 19 to Feb. 12.
 
The season will begin on Nov. 19 with Georgia State's Blue/White Meet. This intra-squad meet will help the Panthers warm up and get ready for an exciting slate of meets throughout the rest of the season.
 
Fans are welcome to attend the meet to see the 2021-22 Panthers for the first time. The Blue/White Meet will start at 1 p.m. at Lakewood Stadium.
 
Dec. 3 will be the first official meet, with the Panthers splitting their squad up between two events. Part of the team will be going to the BSC Icebreaker in Birmingham, Ala., and some going to the Clemson Opener in Clemson, S.C.
 
Then, in another split-squad situation, the team will be back in Birmingham for the Jan. 14 UAB Blazer Invite and Jan. 15 UAB Vulcan Invite while also competing at the Jan. 14-15 Clemson Invite, in Clemson, S.C.
 
Next, Georgia State will be heading north to Nashville, Tenn., for the Vanderbilt Invitational Jan. 21-22, then will head to Houston, Texas for the H-Town Speed Series Jan. 28-29.
 
GSU will then compete at the Samford Bulldog Invitational on Feb. 11-12 before the Sun Belt Indoor Championships Feb. 20-22 in Birmingham, Ala.
 
The Outdoor portion of the 2021-22 schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
