ATLANTA-Cross country/track & field stand-out Lotte Meyberg is the Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week for the fifth time this year after another record-setting performance over the weekend.

Sunday at the South Alabama Jaguar Indoor Track & Field Invitational Meyberg won the Mile by over two seconds in a personal best time of 4:55.69.

Her time is currently the fastest Mile time in the Sun Belt Conference and No. 3 All-time for GSU (behind current teammate and school record holder, Angela Alonso).

After this weekend's competition, Meyberg now leads the Conference in three individual events: Mile, 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters.

Georgia State has just a couple of indoor competitions remaining before the Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championship Feb. 24-25, in Birmingham, Ala.
