ATLANTA-- Sophomore
Maya Anderson claimed a title and set a program record to lead the way for the Georgia State women's track and field program at the Georgia Tech invitational on Saturday afternoon.Â

Anderson led the charge for the Panthers with a first-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.24, which broke the program record in the event.

Kevell Byrd followed with a second-place finish in the 200-meter, running it in 23.57 seconds. Â

Jayla Kennedy secured two top five marks for the Panthers with a third-place finish in the 100-meter (11.59) and fifth in the 200-meter (23.97).

Kayli Williams joined
Maya Anderson in the 100-meter hurdles leader board after her fourth-place time of 13.48 in the event.
Destinee Frink rounded out the top five after placing fifth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:50.05.
