NEW ORLEANS – Georgia State men's tennis fell to UT Arlington 4-1 in the SBC Semifinal match Saturday afternoon.

Zackery Kennedy continued his strong play for the Panthers as he picked up the only point of the day on court two in singles. He rolled through his opponent 6-1, 6-1 and improved to 13-6 on the year.

In doubles, Felipe Jaworski and Jannis Koeke won 6-2 on court three to pick up the lone doubles victory for the Panthers. The pair is now 8-5 in doubles this season.

Matches on courts four through six in singles were tightly contested on the evening.

Jack MacFarlane fell behind early in the first set 1-5, but rallied off six straight points to win 7-5. He then fell 3-6, 2-6 in what would prove to be the match point for the Panthers. MacFarlane is now 13-8 for the year.

Sebastian Acuna fought for a 6-3 win in the first set and was in the tiebreaker for the second set when the match was called.

Felipe Jaworski dropped the first set 6-7 and was in a 6-6 tiebreak battle on court six.

The Panthers will return all six starters in singles and doubles next fall.
