ATLANTA, GA – The Sun Belt Conference announced seedings for the upcoming Men's Tennis tournament on Monday night. The bracket pits ninth-seeded Georgia State against eighth seeded Coastal Carolina in the tournament's opening game.
The Panthers will have an opportunity to avenge an early April loss to the Chanticleers when they take the court on Thursday, April 16. The match, which will air on ESPN+, is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. eastern just 80 miles from Georgia State's campus at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia. The winner of the match will face the top overall seed in the Old Dominion Monarchs.
Georgia State did not see a win in conference play, but had one of their closest matches with Coastal on April 5. The Panthers took doubles in thrilling fashion before eventually falling by a final score of 4-2 on the road in Conway.
