Alex Summerfield has enrolled at GSU and begun his classes in January, 2016.He'll join the team in spring off-season workouts.

Summerfield played center back and left back at Ardingly College in Haywards Heath, Sussex County. His team won 2015 ISFA South League National Cup and ISFA South League.

He was an England Independent School Football, Under 18, team captain. Summerfield scored 16 goals in 20 matches, including two goals from center back against Sporting Lisbon. He also played with the Carshalton Athletic Football Club.

Summerfield was born Jan. 23, 1997 in Chichester, England and lives in Billingshurst. He is the son of Ian and Ruth Summerfield and has older sister, Katie.
