ATLANTA — Georgia State men's soccer is set to compete in the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Championship on Nov. 9–16 at the Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown, W.V., kicking off with a matchup against Marshall.
The Panthers earned the No. 6 seed and will open tournament play against No. 3 Marshall in the quarterfinal round on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Georgia State and Marshall will meet for the 5th time in program history, and the second time this season. Georgia State is 0-2-2 in the series, this will be the first time these teams face each other in the conference tournament. The Panthers look to rematch the Thundering Herd after falling 3-1 in their regular-season game.
A win in the opening round would send Georgia State to the semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET, against the winner of the No. 2 West Virginia vs. No. 7 Old Dominion matchup.
The championship match scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
The single-elimination championship will feature eight teams competing for the league title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
