Newark, Del  (March 6) – In Georgia State's final game ever in the Colonial Athletic Association and Senior Night for host Delaware, the host Blue Hens ran away with an 86-58 win before 5,092 at the sold out Bob Carpenter Center.

Led by senior All-America Elena Delle Donne, Delaware jumped out to a 16-0 start in the first five and a half minutes and the game was never in doubt. Delle Donne scored seven straight to spark that run, finished the first half with 19 points and marked her regular season finale with 24 points in just 17 minutes of action because of the score.

The Blue Hens had a 21-point lead in the first 10 minutes of the game (31-10) after their sixth early 3-point basket in those first 10 minutes. Delaware made 8-of-14 treys in the first half and finished the evening with a school-record 12-of-23 3-point baskets. UD started the game making 9 of its first 15 shots with four treys in the first eight minutes.

The win was No. 16 Delaware's school-record 22nd consecutive of the season and 37th straight CAA win as the Blue Hens improve to 27-3 overall to head into the conference tournament.

Delaware got 15 points from senior Lauren Carra (4-of-5 treys) while senior Danielle Parker led with 12 rebounds. Delaware has seven seniors.

Georgia State finishes its final season in the CAA with a 13-16 slate. The Panthers didn't finally get the ball in the basket until 14:21 in the game on a shot by Cody Paulk, starting the game 0-for-7 from the field. GSU was just 1-for-13 from the field through the first eight minutes. The Panthers shot just 30% in the first half (10 for 33) and 38% for the game.

Junior Kendra Long led Georgia State with 14 points and six steals. Senior center Cody Paulk added 12 points, six rebounds and three blocks as she was the lone senior playing for GSU.

Paulk finishes with school records in blocks for a season with 77 blocks and for a career with 210 for a career. The 210 are fifth most in CAA history and the 77 are tied for sixth most in CAA history for a season. 

Watson set a GSU school record for free throw percentage for a season (.875) with 4-for-4 tonight and 70-of-80 for the season. 

Long ended the season with two 3-pointers to up her GSU career mark to 165, as she returns next year for her final season. She ended the year with 54, her third straight year over 50.
