Henderson's Last Second Layup Tops Stony Brook 62-61

ATLANTA — Crystal Henderson knocked down a game-winning shot with one second remaining, lifting the Georgia State women's basketball team (3-3, 0-0 SBC) to a 62-61 victory over the Stony Brook Seawolves (2-4, 0-0 CAA) on Monday afternoon inside the GSU Convocation Center.

Henderson led the way with 19 points and four steals as one of two Panthers in double figures. Kaleigh Addie added 13 points, while Gabbie Grooms chipped in nine.

The Panthers then added one point to that lead by the end of the period and entered the quarter break with a 20-13 advantage. Georgia State relied on its three-point shooting in the period, knocking down three shots to account for nine of its 20 points.
