ATLANTA--The
Georgia State men's soccer team and head coach Brett Surrency are proud to announce the addition of
seven new members to the men's soccer program on signing day today.
This year's class infuses the Georgia State men's soccer program
with proven local talent, along with an international standout, with each
incoming student-athlete possessing high-level club soccer experience and
success.
"It is our goal to successfully recruit the state of Georgia and
we are confident that we did just that this year," Surrency said, "Versatility
is always a key component in our recruiting philosophy and this group is
certainly that. These signees along with our returners should make for a
talented and exciting team in 2013."
Amiri Abraham
Abraham joins the Georgia State men's soccer team from Collins
Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga. He competed at the club level with the Georgia
United team. Abraham played as a forward, mostly on the wing, and is a two-time
All-County honoree at Collins Hill.
Abraham scored the game-winning goal of a high-profile match
during his sophomore season (2011). The second-half goal gave Collins Hill High
School a victory in the state playoff semifinals against the country's No.
1-ranked squad, Lassiter High School.
"Amiri is a talented, dynamic player that will instantly add
another level of athleticism to our attack," Surrency said.

Jake Bingham
A native of Columbus, Ga., Bingham comes to Georgia State
following a successful career on the high school and club level. He was named
an All Bi-City honoree in 2011 and 2012 as a midfielder and forward playing for
Columbus High School. He was also voted by the high school coaches to compete
in the Southwest Georgia All-Star game in 2011.
Bingham was a member of the National Honor Society and was an AP
Scholar in high school. His brother, Greg, is a redshirt sophomore quarterback
for the Georgia Bulldogs football team.
"Jake has great size, an incredible work rate and we think he will
flourish in our blue-collar culture and environment," Surrency said.

Aaron Jones
Georgia State's lone international addition of the class comes
from a highly-touted development system. Jones played for 10 years for the
development program of the Ipswich Town Football Club. He attended high school
at Lynn Grove VA High School in Great Yarmouth in the English county of
Suffolk.
"Aaron has a great mix of physical ability and technical ability
that will serve him well at the college level," Surrency said.

Everick Little
Little saw much success during his prep career at the club and
high school level. He is a three-time, All-County honoree for Houston County
High School in Warner Robins, Ga. Houston County was the State Cup Champion in
2011 and a finalist in 2012. The team was also a regional finalist in 2011 and
2012. His club team, the GSA 96' Phoenix Red was a Disney Cup finalist in 2011
and SPL Champion in 2012.
Little was a three-year starter for the Olympic Development
Program in Georgia. He was named to the USYSA National Championship Best 11
team in 2012.
Surrency said of Little, "Everick has tremendous upside and his
technical ability will allow him to fit into our system of play very well."

Salomon Lorenzano
Lorenzano is a decorated prep player that should provide depth in
the GSU midfield and defense. He was named an All-State Selection, Region
Player of the Year, Fayette County Player of the Year, All-Region and
All-County honoree in 2012. He was also the MVP of the GSCA All-Star Game in
2012.
Lorenzano also played club soccer for the Concorde Fire Elite. The
team was 2012-13 National League Champions and 2011 and 2012 Georgia State Cup
Champions.
Surrency said, "Solly is a jack-of-all-trades type of player and
one that we believe can succeed in a number of different roles for our team."

Luke Oesterle
A talented goalkeeper, Oesterle is a four-year letterwinner at
East Coweta High School in nearby Sharpsburg, Ga. He played on the club level
for the South Soccer Academy Elite 95 South team coached by former Georgia
State men's soccer player Jordan Davis. Oesterle was a four-year team captain
of the team.
On the high school level, Oesterle was an All-County selection in
2012 and won the Coweta County championship in 2010 and 2012. The team also won
a region championship in 2011 and 2012 and has participated in the state
playoffs from 2010-12. He started all 20 matches last season, made 74 saves and
earned nine shutouts.
"Luke brings a strong work rate and desire to GSU and will make
big strides not long after stepping onto campus," Surrency said.

Andrew Weber
Weber also attended Houston County High School in Warner
Robins, Ga. He played at the club level for the GSA 95' Phoenix Red team. He
was named First Team All-Region as a junior and Second Team All-Region as a
sophomore by the Warner Robins Patriot.
Weber hails from a family of athletes. His dad was an ACC Champion
and All-American swimmer at Clemson University. His brother is a senior on the
Florida State swimming team and is also an ACC Champion and All-American.

Surrency said, "Andrew is a player that we think has a very high
ceiling due to a combination of great size and excellent feet."
