Women's Soccer Announces 2024 Schedule

ATLANTA, GA - Highlighted by 10 match-ups facing Sun Belt opponents and three matches out of conference against SEC competition, Georgia State's head coach Ed Joyce announced the 2024 season schedule.

The Panthers begin the season on Aug. 15, hosting Chattanooga, before hitting the road to Oxford and taking on Ole Miss (Aug. 22). For the second consecutive year, the Panthers will host an SEC opponent when Florida comes to Atlanta on Aug. 29.

Georgia State ends non-conference play by hosting another SEC team, South Carolina (Sept. 15). The Panthers also host in-state foe Kennesaw State (Sept. 5) and travel to in-state for Mercer (Sept. 12).

The Panthers will wrap up the season with a series of thrilling Sun Belt conference matches, starting with a home game against Marshall (Sept. 20). The Sun Belt conference play will be at its peak with a home match against South Alabama (Sept. 29), and the season will culminate with the home finale against Georgia Southern (Oct. 24).

The top returnees from last year's squad will include Aaliyah Faddoul, who led the Panthers with 20 points and was named first-team All-SBC while winning Sun Belt Freshman of the Year. Senior Callie Maughon, who was one of two Panthers to play in every game last season, also returns. Midfielder Elena Diaz, who scored three goals and added three assists, will look to add more in her senior season with the Panthers.
