Box Score ROME, GA. - After finishing 10-13 in the regular season, the Panthers defeated Troy 4-1 in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament quarterfinals before falling 4-0 to Old Dominion in the semifinals.
Georgia State lost the doubles point early in the match after dropping matches on courts No. 1 and No. 2.
Despite close competition throughout all singles courts, the Panthers ultimately fell 4-0 to Old Dominion after dropping matches on singles courts No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4.
Diogo Morais was up 6-4, 2-6, 5-2 before the Monarchs clinched the match, and
Maxwell Weir was tied in the third set on court No. 5.
