Georgia Tech took all points across the board in singles play, leading them to win the match 7-0. Retortillo played on court No. 2, falling to opponent 6-4, 6-0. Freshman
Sveva Bernardi played her first match of the season on court No. 6, falling 6-0, 6-3.
Stanescu battled on court No. 3 but fell short, ending the match 6-4, 6-1. Freshmen
Francesca Miglio and Radojevic also fell to their opponents on courts 4 and 5.
Maria Paredes lost by retirement in the second set, after falling 6-0 in the first set.
The Panthers are back in action Feb. 2 as they head to Boca Raton, Fla. to face DePaul.
