JACKSONVILLE, AL – Georgia State Women's Tennis returned to Alabama on Sunday for their fifth match in the Heart of Dixie this season. Sunday's trip saw the Panthers take on Jacksonville State, battling before eventually falling by a score of 4-0.

Doubles play saw a pair of identical 6-2 losses for the Panthers on courts one and two. Lamiss Haouas and Mia Petrovic cut their deficit to 3-5 on court three, but had their game cut short.

Continuing to struggle with injuries, the Panthers were once again forced to forfeit a point on singles court six, giving the Gamecocks a 2-0 lead heading into singles play.
