ATLANTA, GA-- The Georgia State men's tennis team opens its season by hosting Elon and South Carolina State on Jan. 20 at 12:00 p.m.

The GSU tennis team is set to face Elon at 12:00 p.m. and South Carolina State at 5:00 p.m. 

The Panthers are slated to host 14 matches in the 2024 season beginning with a four-game homestand against Elon (Jan. 20), South Carolina State (jan. 20), Chattanooga (Jan. 26) and Stetson (Jan. 28). GSU also hosts Sun Belt conference matches against Old Dominion (Mar. 22), James Madison (Mar. 24), South Alabama (Apr. 6) and Troy (Apr. 7). Head coach James Wilson's team will also see action against Georgia Tech (Feb. 2), Florida State (Feb. 23) and Georgia (Mar. 10).  

GSU returns three players, including team captains Edward Tymes and Gabriele Datei, and welcomes five newcomers to the squad.
