Faddoul is Center Parc Student-Athlete of the Week

Georgia State soccer standout Aaliyah Faddoul is the Center Parc Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week after notching three goals and seven points to lead the Panthers to a pair of shutout victories and a 2-0 start in Sun Belt Conference play.

Last Thursday, Faddoul tallied the only goal of the match to give the Panthers a 1-0 win at ULM in their Sun Belt opener.

Then the freshman from Ontario, Canada, picked up two goals and an assist to lead Georgia State to Sunday's 3-0 victory over Coastal Carolina.

Named Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time this fall, Faddoul leads the Sun Belt with seven goals and 17 points on the season.

Faddoul and the Panthers host Texas State Friday at 7 p.m. at the GSU Soccer Complex.
