Mize Named Center Parc Student-Athlete of the Week

Baseball standout Will Mize is the Center Parc Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week after leading Georgia State to three wins last week.

The junior infielder from Snellville, Ga. (Brookwood High School) hit .563 on the week, going 9-for-16 at the plate with two home runs and seven RBI in four games. Mize drew four walks for a .650 on-base percentage. He also scored four runs and went 3-for-3 on stolen bases.

For the season Mize is hitting .424 with three homers and 12 RBI. He has helped the Panthers (8-4) win seven of their last eight games, entering Tuesday's contest vs. Kennesaw State.

First pitch between the Panthers and Owls is set for 4 p.m. at the GSU Baseball Complex.
