The Panthers shot an 8-over 296 in Monday's first round at the Rivermont Golf Club to stand in a three-way tie for first place with Troy and Lipscomb after 18 holes. The 16-team field then completed about 15 holes of the second round when play was suspended due to darkness. The second round will resume at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, and then the teams will continue to the third and final round. Georgia State enters Tuesday's play at 12-over, eight shots behind leader Lipscomb. Acuff opened the tournament with a 1-over 73. Through 15 holes of the second round, she sits at 1-under, in a three-way tie for second place and one shot behind leader Stephany Kim of Boston College.
