ATLANTA — Georgia State finished seventh overall at the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship on Wednesday afternoon at The Lakewood Club's Dogwood Course in Point Clear, Ala.
The Panthers posted a final-round 285, their best team score of the tournament, to finish at 892 (304-303-285).
Georgia State improved by 19 strokes from round two to round three, highlighting a balanced effort across the lineup in the final round.
Grace Kalina led the Panthers, finishing tied for 10th at 4-over par (220). After opening with a 77, Kalina rebounded with a steady 72 in round two before closing with a 1-under 71, one of the team's top final rounds.
TK Kongthong tied for 21st at 6-over (222), improving each day. After rounds of 74 and 77, she posted a strong 71 (-1) in the final round to help spark the team's surge.
Pariya Sanpanawat also tied for 21st at 222 (+6). She delivered consistent play throughout the tournament, including rounds of 74-76-72, closing at even par in the final round.
Madison Rookard finished tied for 38th at 12-over (228). After opening rounds of 79 and 78, Rookard bounced back with a 1-under 71 in the final round—matching the team's low score of the day.
Gemilau Joanne Kurnia placed 47th at 16-over (232), improving each round with scores of 81-78-73, including a final-round 73 (+1).
