JOHNS CREEK, Ga.— Georgia State women's golf claimed the title at its 2026 Georgia State Invitational on Tuesday afternoon to end March action.
Sophomore
TK Kongthong led the Panthers, scoring even par 216 (72-72-72), to finish fourth overall in the tournament. Kongthong finished with three even par rounds and five birdies, and 42-even par holes. The highlight of the tournament came when Kongthong drained a hole-in-one on the fourth hole of round two.
Freshman
Grace Kalina also scored top 10 on the leaderboard, scoring a three-over 219 (72-71-76) through 36 holes. Kalina placed seventh in the tournament with 38-even par holes and seven birdies.
Madison Rookard, who participated as an individual, finished third on the Panthers' leaderboard and 11
th overall in the tournament with a six-over par 220 (72-70-78) scorecard. Rookard shot a tournament-best round finishing 2-under par with a score of 70.
Freshman Gemilau Kurnia tied with
Pariya Sanpanawat in 24
th place in the tournament and fourth on the Panther leaderboard. Kurnia shot a nine-over par 225 (76-72-77) with six birdies and 33-even par holes to complete the tournament. Gemilau also recorded a tournament-best round with an even-par 72 in the second round with three under-par holes.
Junior Sanpanawat shot a nine-over 225 (75-73-77) with six birdies and 34-even par holes. Sanpanawat's tournament-best round consisted of a one-over par 73 with three under-par holes.
Lindsey Pak shot an eleven-over 227 (79-73-75) score. Pak shot 28-even par holes and finished with eight birdies. She recorded a tournament-best round scoring a one-over par 73, which included three under-par holes in the second round.
Junior
Gaemphuang Ketrahong and Senior
Silka Solomon both competed individually in the tournament. Ketrahong shot 236 (77-79-80), scoring 25-even par holes and six birdies. Solomon recorded a par score 241 (81-79-81) with 27-even par holes.
The Panthers are back in action at the ECU Ironwood Invitational, hosted by East Carolina on Apr. 5-7.
