Panthers Move Up Three Spots in Round 2 of Bama Bash

GULF SHORES, ALA. -- The Georgia State women's golf team moved up three spots in the team standings on Day 2 of the Bama Bash, standing in eighth place after 36 holes at the Gulf Shores Golf Club.

The Panthers improved by 10 strokes in Monday's second round with score of 304 on the Par 72 layout. With a two-round total of 618 (+42), Georgia State enters the final round within 10 shots of second place, but 36-hole leader ULM is far in front at 17-over par 593.

Noemie Boulbes is Georgia State's top individual, standing in a tie for 22nd place at with a 10-over par 154, and Ari Acuff is just one shot behind at 155. Amelie Webber had Georgia State's best round of the day with a 74.

The tournament concludes with 18 holes Tuesday. The Panthers will be paired with host South Alabama and Memphis with tee times beginning at 9:45 a.m. ET.
