Georgia State women's soccer standout
Aaliyah Faddoul was named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year as well as first-team All-Sun Belt Conference, while
Eva Diez Lois and
Jaddah Foos were honored on the All-Sun Belt second team.
Faddoul ranks in the top six in the Sun Belt in goals (7/5th), assists (6/3rd) and points (20/6th). She was honored twice as the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week and was recognized among the nation's top freshmen by Top Drawer Soccer.

The forward from Toronto, Canada, made an immediate impact with with three goals and an assist in the season opener and continued her strong play throughout the season.
Faddoul is Georgia State's second Sun Belt Freshman of the Year in the last four years, joining 2020 honoree
Maddie Johnston.
Diez Lois, the senior defender, earned second-team All-Sun Belt honors for the second straight year. She is the top defender on a Georgia State defense ranks third in the Sun Belt with 0.38 goals allowed per game and has recorded 10 shutouts. She was named Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week after leading a 1-0 shutout of Texas State that was GSU's third consecutive shutoutÂ
The Santander, Spain native holds the GSU career record with 86 games played, including 75 starts, recording seven career goals and 15 points.
Foos, the senior goalkeeper, is a two-time All-Sun Belt selection who was also recognized on the second team in 2020. This season she leads the Sun Belt in save percentage (.880) and ranks third in goals against average (.480). Foos was named Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week after back-to-back shutouts of Old Dominion and James Madison.Â
A native of Baltimore, Md., Foos ranks second in school history with 20 career shutouts. She recorded five shutouts this season, including four in Sun Belt matches (ODU, JMU, ULM Arkansas State), and also played half of four other clean sheets.
