MOBILE, Ala. – The Panthers had an impressive end to the weekend at the USA Intercollegiate as they were able to set the lowest three-round tournament score (867) in school history surpassing the previous record (876) by 9 strokes.
Ari Acuff shot rounds of 70-70-68 to not only place second in the tournament at 8-under par but set the school record for the lowest three-round total. Her final round of 68 included 5 birdies, 12 pars and one bogey. Acuff's 68 is also the fifth lowest individual round and third lowest third round in school history.
The team finished seventh overall with a score of 3-over par. The Panthers shot a final round of 286 which is the fifth lowest round in school history and the lowest round since 2013.

Seventh place is a solid finish within this field and we beat some historically strong teams. This tournament marked the first of four fall tournaments. The Panthers will resume play Sept. 23-25 at the Lady Paladin Invitational.
