Acuff's 70 Leads Women's Golf in Round 1 of USA Intercollegiate

MOBILE, Ala. – Ari Acuff led the Georgia State women's golf team on Day 1 of the USA Intercollegiate. Acuff's opening round score of 70 is enough to have her tied for ninth place at 2-under par as she heads into the second day of competition.

As a team the Panthers are tied for tenth with a total score of 293. Host South Alabama leads the way at 11-under par to start the tournament, while their own Catharina Lohoff is tied for first with Sydney Hackett out of Western Kentucky at 5-under par.

Mahina Leveau is also among the top 25 following an opening round par of 72. She enters day two looking to improve upon that performance.
