Acuff and Boulbes Among Top 15 at Lady Paladin Invitational

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Graduate student Ari Acuff and freshman Noemie Boulbes lead the Georgia State women's golf team heading into the final round of the Lady Paladin Invitational. Acuff and Boulbes both sit in the top 15 as the Panthers will look to continue their strong play.

Aubri Braecklein displayed great mental toughness as she finished the day shooting the second best score for the Panthers with a second round 73. A nice comeback from round one as she looks to help push the team up the leaderboard.

"Today was another great performance by the Panthers. Although our rounds weren't perfect, they found a way to keep our scores where they need to be. We've got some room to improve on the par fives, so that will be one of our goals tomorrow. Aubri made a nice comeback from round one and Ari played very consistently today." head coach Jessica Steward said.

The team shot a second round 294 which will place them in sixth place and seven shots back from the leader. The women continue to play well and finished with the second lowest team round of the day. The Panthers also currently lead the field in birdies made as well as par 4 scoring.
