Justin McLean Named Center Parc Student-Athlete of the Week

Georgia State Men's Soccer freshman, Justin McLean, was named Center Parc Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week after scoring two goals in Saturday's win over James Madison.

The first goal came in the second half to give the Panthers a 2-1 lead. The second came in the 86^th minute, clinching the Panthers first conference win of the season. McLean leads the Panthers in assists, goals, and points.

The freshman is ranked among the top in the nation in multiple categories including 18^th in total assists (4) and 28^th in total points (10). In the Sun Belt Conference McLean is second in total assists (4), second in total points (10), third in points per game (1.43), fifth in assists per game (0.57), and eighth in goals per game (0.43).

The Panthers host the No.6 Kentucky Wildcats at home this Saturday, September 24. The match will be aired on ESPN+ beginning at 7:00 p.m.
