ATLANTA, Ga - Georgia State (18-29, 8-13 Sun Belt) falls to ULM (26-23, 10-14 Sun Belt) in game three of the series Sunday afternoon (0-7).
The Warhawks jumped on the board in the second inning on a three run home run by Kelsey Giddens. They scored two more runs on a two RBI double.
The Panthers tried to answer back as they had six hits but left seven runners on base in the game.
Sophie Mooney came in to save the game for the second time in a row but fell short. She only gave up three hits and two runs, striking out four in five innings. Buck recorded the loss, 7-6.
The Panthers will be back on the road for the final series of the season, as they travel to Georgia Southern. The series will start on Thursday, May 5 at 5 pm ET.Â
