Made an immediate impact in the circle as a freshman, going 3-4 with a 3.48 ERA, second best on the staff… Threw three complete games and one shutout… Led the team in innings pitched at 52.1… Also led the team with 50 strikeouts, seventh best in the Sun Belt… She ranked third in the Sun Belt with 27 strikeouts looking… Was stellar in her Sun Belt debut, throwing a complete-game shutout against Texas State on March 7… Mooney allowed just one run on four hits through seven innings against the Bobcats… Picked up her first collegiate RBI at the plate against Akron Feb. 15.
