Appeared in 29 games with 26 starts…Batted .245 with 16 hits, seven runs, four doubles, four RBI’s and 12 walks…Went 2-for-3 at Florida A&M and ULM…Went 2-for-4 with two RBI April 18 against Coastal Carolina…Drew two walks in Game 2 vs. Georgia Southern March 7.

2020
Played in 21 games and made 16 starts… Totaled 11 hits for a .244 clip… Knocked in three runs and scored three… Batted in a pair of runs against Bryant Feb. 21.

2019
Hicks played in 35 games and made 23 starts as a freshman… She went 3-for-3 with an RBI against ULM on April 27 and 2-for-4 vs. Georgia Southern on May 2... First career hit and RBI came Feb. 9 against No. 1 UCLA.

Prep

Lettered all four years at South Cobb... Earned the second seed in the region during her sophomore year... Made it to the first round of playoffs as a freshman at South Cobb… Her second season in high school, she was top-5 in batting average…Selected for Second Team All-Region as a senior… Named Athlete of the Week by Marietta Daily Journal… Travel ball team Georgia Academy Power captured TCS SE National Championship in 2017... Also played tennis at South Cobb.

Kaylnn Elyse Hicks was born on April 21, 2000 in Marietta, Ga… She is the daughter of Kenneth and Ineida Hicks… Has one older sister, who played softball at Albany State… Participated in the National Honor Society… Intends to major in Business Marketing.
