Georgia State (15-24, 6-9 Sun Belt) will be back on the road as they face Coastal Carolina (15-23, 1-14 Sun Belt) in Conway on Friday. The game will be aired on ESPN+ with a start time of 4 pm ET. 

GEORGIA STATE NOTES

Bailee Richardson still leads the Panthers with a .303 batting avg.

Daisy Hess also still leads the Panthers in stolen bases with 21 on the season and sits alone at number two in the conference. Hess, along with Sophie Mooney, lead the team in doubles, each with 10 this season. 

The Panthers are currently in a three pitcher rotation that includes Emily Buck, Hallie Adams and Emily Hodnett. Buck leads the Panthers with six wins and an ERA of 3.16. 

COASTAL CAROLINA AND GEORGIA STATE

Georgia State is currently looking to snap their 4 game losing streak this weekend. The Panthers took the series loss to Texas State and battled it out in a midweek matchup against Georgia Tech for a loss. 

Coastal Carolina is coming off a series loss against ULM over the weekend. 

SERIES HISTORY

The last time the Panthers met the Chanticleers was late March at the Bubly Invitational in Gainesville, Florida. The Panthers took the victory, 3-2. The all time series record between the two teams since 2014 is tied up at seven.
