Panthers fall to Texas State in just five innings. The Bobcats bats were wide awake in the bottom of the fifth to bring it home by scoring six.
The Panthers were aggressive on the base paths but it wasn't enough. Emily Brown stole second in the first inning and Daisy Hess in the top of the second stole two bases and now has 23 stolen bases on the season. The Panthers have 83 stolen bases in the season and stand at second in the conference behind Louisiana.
Both teams had a slow start until the fourth inning when Texas State went up two runs on four hits. This gave Texas State momentum going into the fifth inning when Georgia State gave up six runs on six hits.Â
Emily Buck (6-5) got both wins against UTA But took the loss today against Texas State.
The Panthers face the Bobcats one last time tomorrow at Noon before coming back home to face Georgia Tech on Wednesday at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.Â
