MACON, Ga. – After a dominant performance last week in the Little Rock Classic the Panthers closed out their fall schedule with a second-place finish at the Mercer Invitational. The team was led by sophomore Aubri Braecklein who finished tied for fourth.
Aubri Braecklein finished 2-over par on the day and shot a final round 69 to help secure the team's spot in the top two. Braecklein has been playing at a high level and will look to continue excelling once the season continues in the spring.
Due to an illness and withdrawal the Panthers were forced to play four and count four. The team was still able to have all of their remaining players place inside the top 25 with
Kelly Strickland coming in 13

Noemie Boulbes placing 17
th and
Ari Acuff finishing at 22

"This weekend was a great display of resilience from the ladies. Yesterday just wasn't our day. We were getting bad bounces and our putts weren't dropping. Thankfully, we had the opportunity to make a comeback today. They put their head down and stayed focused. We were able to end a spectacular fall season on an excellent round." head coach
Jessica Steward said.
The Panthers will continue their season on February 20 for the FAU Atlantic Invitational in Boca Raton, Fla.
