Max Wilkins Named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week, Week 6

ATLANTA- Senior Forward Max Wilkins was named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the week after the victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles, 4-2. Wilkins is the second Panther given the honor after Freshman Midfielder, Justin McLean earned it in week 4.
 
Wilkins scored two goals in Saturday's win over in-state rival Georgia Southern. The forward scored the first goal of the match in the first minute to put the Panthers on the board first. He would then go on to score the last goal of the match with a header to secure the win for the Panthers.
 
He was the only Sun Belt Player to score two goals this week, earning a total of four points, both of which would be his individual match high.
 
Wilkins is now tied with Simon Carlson and Justin McLean in goals, each with three on the season.
 
The Panthers are back at home this Friday, October 7 at 7pm to take on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
